We are seeking an experienced Microsoft 365 Administrator to support our growing national employee base and footprint. Standout candidates will be certified in M365 administration and possess excellent problem-solving communication and customer service skills.

Objectives of this role
  • Reporting to the IronSite IT Director, the Microsoft 365 Administrator will be responsible for managing, maintaining and monitoring all user and device objects for IronSite
  • Maintain the M365, Azure and SSO integrated cloud environments and their associated operating procedures
  • Manage the M365 environment, including the services that are on Office 365 (Email, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Endpoint Management) and Entra security
  • Act as the primary point of contact for level 2/3 escalations from the IT Service Desk
  • Own device imaging, deployment and inventory management

Responsibilities
  • Manage Azure Identities and Governance, including Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) objects, user and group creation, user and group property management, device settings management, perform bulk updates, and configure Azure AD join and self-service password reset
  • Own Microsoft Server products, including Active Directory, Group Policy, Azure DNS/DHCP, and file/print services
  • Manage role-based access control and create custom roles, provide access to Azure and cloud resources by assigning roles to different scopes
  • Respond to escalated tech inquiries via email, through Teams, over the phone, or in person
  • Directly interact with end-users for escalated tickets and issues
  • Help with troubleshooting hardware and software
  • Communicate customer feedback and process improvement opportunities to the appropriate internal team members

Skills and qualifications
  • 3 years of proven Microsoft 365 experience and 5 years of professional IT experience, including DNS, DHCP and related configuration
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft-based solutions including Active Directory and O365 services experience including Teams, Intune, Entra, and Exchange Online
  • Possess knowledge of computer hardware and operating systems common to a business environment
  • Convey strong critical thinking/problem solving skills, as well as project management skills and the ability to prioritize
  • Ability to create and maintain diagrams of network configurations using Visio
  • Patient, friendly demeanor with a great aptitude for listening
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%

Preferred qualifications
  • Experience with cloud migrations and IT infrastructure management
  • Experience with modern Devos and scripting/automation of IaaS
  • Microsoft certifications MS-102 and/or MS-900 are a plus
  • Understanding of the NIST (or similar) standards for Microsoft 365 environments
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • A desire to continually evaluate, learn and adopt new technologies
