Optomi, in partnership with an industry leader within the media & entertainment industry, is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer for their team! This role is hybrid, 4 days/week onsite in Orlando, FL! In addition, this Senior Software Engineer will have proficiency in Python development using Django, React, Rest API's and experience writing SQL queries. Along with this, you will also have experience with Snowflake cloud data warehouse and media networks or analytics systems.

Experience of the right candidate:
Bachelor's degree in computer science
Minimum five years of software development experience
Minimum three years of experience developing with Python
Experience working with the Django framework
Full-stack web development experience
Experience with React JS
Experience writing Rest APIs
Experience with JavaScript, HTML and CSS
Minimum two years of experience writing SQL queries
Experience with MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, or similar database
Experience working on AWS or other cloud platform
Experience working with complex and large volumes of data
Excellent problem-solving, design, and development skills
Willingness and ability to learn in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a strong team environment
Ability to adapt to rapidly changing business environments and managing multiple priorities
Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical teams
Responsibilities of the right candidate:
Develop custom analytical software that solves complex business problems
Implement decision systems that improve the use of analytics with their media networks team.
Partner with Decision Science teams to integrate data science advancements into end-to-end solutions.
Partner with Data and Technology teams to establish scalable, efficient, and automated data processes.
There is a possibility that there could be an option to convert to a full-time employee.
