Seeking a highly motivated and skilled Systems Engineer I to join our team at the Newnan, GA facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing on-site support and maintenance for our diverse range of hardware and software systems. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of Softeon hardware, including computers, printers, and the Softeon print server. Additionally, the Systems Engineer I will be a vital member of our Endpoint Management team, managing servers and Azure Virtual Desktop systems in the Microsoft Azure cloud, updating & supporting Linux, Windows, and SQL servers.
Key Responsibilities
Provide on-site support and maintenance for Softeon hardware, including computers and printers, at the Newnan, GA facility.
Manage and support the Softeon print server to ensure seamless printing operations.
Be an integral part of the Endpoint Management team, responsible for the management of servers, including Linux, Windows, and SQL servers.
Oversee the operation and support of Azure Virtual Desktop systems in the Microsoft Azure cloud.
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues promptly and efficiently.
Ensure all systems are maintained with the latest updates and patches.
Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure coordination and integration of system changes and updates.
Document all support activities, solutions, and updates for future reference.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in systems engineering, IT support, or a related role.
Proficiency in managing and supporting Linux, Windows, and SQL servers.
Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop systems and cloud management.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for hardware and software issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Softeon hardware systems.
Certifications in relevant IT fields (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator).
Knowledge of endpoint management tools and techniques.
