Client is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Variant Configuration (AVC) Consultant for a critical role in the automobile industry. The ideal candidate will leverage expertise in variant configuration processes to design, implement, and support complex product configurations for our client.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements for variant configuration in the automotive domain.
Design and develop advanced product configuration models using SAP Advanced Variant Configuration (AVC).
Integrate AVC models with other SAP modules like SD, MM, and PP for seamless end-to-end processes.
Provide functional specifications for technical developments and enhancements.
Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) for AVC-related solutions.
Analyze and resolve issues related to AVC in the SAP environment, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Develop and deliver user training and documentation to enhance understanding and adoption of AVC processes.
Support go-live activities and provide ongoing maintenance and support post-implementation.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in AVC and recommend enhancements accordingly.
Required Qualifications:
Strong experience in SAP Advanced Variant Configuration (AVC) with a proven track record in implementation and support projects.
In-depth knowledge of the automobile industry's product configuration requirements.
Expertise in variant pricing, configuration dependencies, and object dependencies.
Hands-on experience in SAP integration with SD, MM, and PP modules.
Strong understanding of the product lifecycle and its impact on variant configuration.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with other SAP solutions like SAP S/4HANA and their integration with AVC.
Knowledge of BOM structures, routing, and complex product catalog management.
Previous consulting experience in the automotive sector.
Certification in SAP Advanced Variant Configuration or related modules is a plus.
