Responsibilities:
Collaborates with other staff to research and resolve problems, applying knowledge of computer software, hardware and procedures to solve systems' problems. i.e., application, database, server, storage, network, security, NOC, etc.
Administers Aris infrastructure and systems (cloud and on-premise) as necessary to maintain the security, integrity, and usability of all systems tied to the Aris information asset.
Ensures stable performance through continuous performance tuning and alerting.
Participates and leads the troubleshooting effort during incidents.
Stays apprised of emerging best practices, technologies and suggest them when applicable
Experience with Cisco (meraki) networking equipment
Familiar with firewall and proxy procedures and activities
Routing and protocol experience
Experience with application load balancing equipment.
Knowledge of WAN redundancy.
Mapping and documentation skills.
Previous usage of industry network monitoring tools.
Usage of virtualization and networking in a virtual environment.
Thorough understanding of VLAN structures.
Wi-Fi security and configuration. - Preferably with HP Aruba Wireless a plus
