Manage Office 365 SaaS applications and Azure AD environments.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot virtual servers and desktops within a VMWare infrastructure.
Assist the IT Manager in maintaining on-site servers and clustered VMWare and XenServer environments.
Support the Digital Services team in maintaining AWS servers (primarily Linux) hosting databases and custom web applications.
Oversee network and email accounts for hybrid work environments.
Provide advanced IT support to staff, addressing escalated issues beyond helpdesk capabilities.
Contribute to infrastructure projects, including maintenance and documentation of core systems.
Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot software, hardware, and network printers.
Set up and troubleshoot mobile devices.
Be available for occasional on-call support and scheduled system maintenance outside regular work hours.
Qualifications
Required Experience:
5-7 years of progressively responsible IT experience.
Relevant certifications or education in technology/computer science can substitute for up to five years of experience (e.g., MCSA or MCSE certifications preferred).
Technical Skills:
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Office 365 administration, Active Directory, and Group Policies.
Strong troubleshooting skills across Microsoft operating systems (Windows 10, 11, and Windows Server).
Expertise with VMWare and/or Citrix XenServer virtualization technologies.
Advanced understanding of networking (e.g., IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, VLANs).
Familiarity with Linux systems (preferably Ubuntu).
Experience with MS SQL is preferred.
Knowledge of GIS systems (e.g., Esri, QGIS) is a plus.
Experience with physical server interconnections and SAN hardware (IBM or Dell/EMC preferred).
