The Role
As a Senior Engineer, you'll oversee software development from concept to deployment, lead a team of engineers, and create intuitive systems that simplify complex workflows. You'll design scalable software and APIs, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to support high-stakes operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the full development cycle for mission-critical systems.
Guide engineers with technical leadership and mentorship.
Develop applications for Mission Control Systems and space operations.
Design APIs to enhance efficiency for internal and external users.
What You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years in software development, with experience leading projects or teams.
Expert in Go (Golang), with proficiency in Python, React, JavaScript/TypeScript.
Experience with cloud-native architecture and distributed systems.
Eligibility for U.S. security clearance (Secret or TS/SCI).
Nice to haves:
Familiarity with containerization (Kubernetes) and cloud services (AWS EC2, S3, Batch, Lambda).
Experience in data engineering, large-scale data pipelines, and real-time data processing.
A passion for space exploration, with experience in the space industry or related fields.
