Our clientis seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Program Manager to oversee the management and implementation of a Workday ERP project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex ERP implementations and upgrades, with extensive experience in Workday. This role is critical to ensuring that the ERP system meet the needs of the institution and support its mission of transforming healthcare through innovation and excellence in education and research.
Responsibilities
Project Management: Lead and manage all phases of Workday project, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders across departments to gather requirements, define project goals, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocate resources, including project teams, budgets, and timelines, to ensure project success.
Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to minimize impact on project delivery. Proactively address issues and implement solutions.
Change Management: Develop and implement change management plans to facilitate the smooth transition to Workday systems and processes. Ensure effective communication and training for all stakeholders.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet high-quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Reporting: Provide regular project updates to senior leadership, including status reports, progress metrics, and performance evaluations.
Vendor Management: Coordinate with Implementation partner to ensure project requirements are met and contractual obligations are fulfilled.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on Higher Education and Healthcare Workday systems implementation and upgrades. PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is required. Strong understanding of ERP systems, project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall), and change management processes. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects in an academic or healthcare environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering practical and innovative solutions. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree is preferred. Additional certifications related to ERP systems are preferred.
