We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Leaves and 401k Specialist to join our team in North Portland, Oregon. As a Leaves and 401k Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and administering employee leave programs and 401k plans, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and manage employee leave programs, including FMLA, short-term disability, long-term disability, and other leave types.
Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding leave policies, procedures, and eligibility.
Process and track leave requests, ensuring accurate documentation and timely communication with employees and managers.
Administer the company's 401k plan, including enrollment, contributions, and distributions.
Provide guidance and support to employees regarding 401k plan options, benefits, and investment choices.
Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations related to leave programs and 401k plans.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the HRIS and other relevant systems.
Collaborate with HR and payroll teams to ensure accurate processing of leave and 401k-related transactions.
Assist in the development and implementation of leave and 401k policies and procedures.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices related to leave management and retirement plans.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
2-3 years of experience in leave administration and 401k plan management at a high volume and multi-state level
Strong knowledge of federal and state leave laws, including FMLA and ADA.
Familiarity with 401k plan regulations and compliance requirements.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
Proficiency in using HRIS and other relevant software applications.
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
