About the Role:

We are excited to announce an opening for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) focused exclusively on the community college vertical across the United States. This is an emerging vertical for Another Source within the higher education market where we already have a foundation of community college clients. You'll have the unique opportunity to build on that foundation, expand our presence, and truly take ownership of this space.

 

As an SDR, you’ll join our growing Business Development team as the fifth member, working closely with teammates to generate a strong pipeline of opportunities. Your primary focus will be connecting with decision-makers at community colleges, leveraging your exceptional EQ, people skills, and growth mindset to drive results.

 

Compensation Package:

  • Base salary $65,000/year
  • Commission on both meetings completed AND deals closed

What we’d like to see from you:

  • 1+ years of experience in a sales/lead generation role
  • Passion, coachability, goal orientation, and competitiveness
  • Exceptional EQ with the ability to connect with diverse individuals and build trust
  • Growth-minded mindset and a proactive, self-starter approach to problem-solving
  • Demonstrated success working autonomously toward company goals
  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills
  • High degree of integrity and professional demeanor
  • Basic understanding of the business development process

How you will spend your time:

  • Build and maintain prospect lists within the community college vertical
  • Partner with Marketing to develop and execute messaging content and outreach sequences
  • Qualify leads and generate pipeline for the sales organization, coordinating qualified meetings with the Business Development team
  • Conduct daily outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn
  • Set appointments with key decision-makers that lead to qualified leads
