JOB DESCRIPTION:
Working on Commodity Management project helping automate manual processes. MVP is about ready to go live, headed into next phase.
Current business problem pertaining to a commodity management tool/commodity and truck ticket management. Across all entities, roughly 2M tickets a year for when they order a load of concrete, truck of aggregates, or just other commodities of that nature. A lot of the big vendors now will send an electronic record; there are also a lot of PDF records that will tell you the weight of the material you got, the vendor, any kind of ancillary charges, QC specs, things that you need to not only pay the invoice but to log from a quality control perspective. Scanning and digitizing invoice data. Central repository for data. Hybrid of custom dev, integration work. Pushing away from paper. Building this in house.
