Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) Lead - Risk Management
Job Summary
Join our team to lead operations and support functions across multiple business groups, contributing to large-scale strategic initiatives. This role focuses on efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness while managing Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) and Ongoing Enhanced Due Diligence (ODD) activities for high-risk customers. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies while delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive due diligence and risk assessments for high-risk customer segments following established guidelines.
Draft clear, concise risk summaries with recommendations for customer retainability.
Collaborate with internal and external partners to address risk issues and achieve strategic goals.
Maintain knowledge of regulatory environments and assess impacts on business operations.
Contribute to strategic planning, policy development, and project execution to enhance risk mitigation and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Experience: 4+ years in Due Diligence, Risk Management, Client Services, or Business Operations.
Technical Skills:
Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency.
Strong analytical abilities with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Regulatory Knowledge:
BSA/AML/OFAC compliance experience in financial institutions.
Familiarity with financial crimes due diligence, risk analysis, and transactional reviews.
Soft Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Ability to interact with diverse organizational levels effectively.
Certifications:
Certified Anti Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS).
Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
Preferred Attributes
Expertise in assessing, underwriting, and mitigating risks for high-risk customer segments.
Knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act, USA PATRIOT Act, and Economic Sanctions laws.
