Trusted insurance provider seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Claims Analyst for a long term temporary role. This hybrid position based in Pasadena. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto claims analysis and is looking for a contract opportunity with a possibility for extension or transition to permanent employment.
Key Responsibilities:
Review, manage, and process auto insurance claims from initiation to resolution.
Evaluate claim documentation, including accident reports, damage assessments, repair estimates, and photos.
Analyze claims for accuracy, verifying coverage and assessing liability to determine appropriate claim settlements.
Communicate effectively with claimants, repair facilities, third-party vendors, and other relevant parties to gather necessary information and resolve issues.
Identify potential fraudulent claims and conduct thorough investigations as needed.
Work closely with other internal departments (e.g., legal, underwriting) to facilitate claim resolution.
Maintain clear, detailed, and accurate records of all claims in the company's claims management system.
Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
Provide exceptional customer service by guiding claimants through the claims process and addressing their inquiries.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in auto claims analysis or similar roles in the insurance industry.
Solid understanding of auto insurance policies, claim processes, and industry regulations.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-focused approach.
Ability to assess claim details, including vehicle damage and repair estimates, to make accurate decisions.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex claims issues.
Proficiency in using claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
Highly organized with great attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to work independently in a hybrid work environment while collaborating effectively with remote and in-office teams.
