The individual works in a customer service capacity, assisting policyholders and producers with questions related to policy coverage, forms, and premium. The Customer Service Representative has underwriting authority as assigned by the Vice President of Underwriting
Essential Functions:
Knowledge of Company management system, company website, forms, rules, rates, and procedures
Respond to phone calls, emails, and faxes from policyholders and producers, or forward the requests to other departments as appropriate
Communicate/interact with other departments as required (e.g., Accounting, Marketing, Risk Management, etc.)
Reset website passwords for policyholders and producers
Provide support to Underwriters as needed
Other Responsibilities
Perform related duties as assigned
Maintain compliance with all Company policies and procedures
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements/Attributes:
High school diploma required
Experience providing customer service preferred
Ability to work accurately under time constraints and meet deadlines
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, which includes the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
Personal qualities of integrity and credibility, and a commitment to the overall mission of the Company

The salary range for this position is $40,000-$56,000 annually depending on qualifications and experience. This position may be eligible for an annual bonus depending on performance.
This is a full-time position based out of our Hunt Valley, Maryland office, with a hybrid work schedule. Medical Mutual's hours of operation are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
