We are seeking a skilled and experienced Transmission Project Manager to lead the delivery of high-voltage transmission projects in the Philadelphia, PA region. Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership:
Plan, execute, and oversee high-voltage transmission projects from initiation to completion.
Develop and manage project scopes, budgets, and schedules to meet client expectations and organizational objectives.
Stakeholder Coordination:
Serve as the primary point of contact for utilities, regulatory agencies, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Facilitate effective communication to align project goals and deliverables.
Team Management:
Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, including engineers, construction managers, and subcontractors.
Promote a safety-first culture and ensure adherence to all safety protocols.
Regulatory and Compliance Oversight:
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including FERC, NERC, and OSHA standards.
Oversee permitting processes and ensure environmental and safety compliance.
Risk and Quality Management:
Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement contingency plans as needed.
Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and technical specifications.
Financial Management:
Monitor project budgets to control costs and prevent overruns.
Prepare detailed cost reports and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience managing high-voltage transmission projects, preferably in the utility or energy sector.
Skills and Certifications:
Strong understanding of high-voltage transmission systems, including design, construction, and operation.
Proficiency in project management tools such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
PMP certification is strongly preferred.
Knowledge of applicable industry standards and regulations, including NESC and NERC reliability standards.
Soft Skills:
Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
