Job Description:
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze and review all pertinent documentation, including plans, technical drawings, and project specifications.
- Assess any potential risks due to deficiencies in the project documents.
- Understand contractual terms and conditions
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with project leadership, laborers, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Soliciting of quotations from subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring the quote details align with project documents and requirements
- Compile necessary materials and services lists per project specifications
- Provide clear, detailed quantity take-offs
- Write out scopes of work per project documents
- Review project manuals and request/review material submittals for accuracy
- Assist the Project Manager in project oversight, ensuring all site activities, materials, and laborers proceed in a safe and organized manner
- Coordinate work activities with Superintendents/Subcontractors to align with project specifications and schedule requirements
- Evaluate project schedule and budget to prioritize tasks accordingly and maximize productivity
- Enforce and uphold all project and personnel safety requirements
Professional Skills & Qualities:
- Ability to read drawings and specifications with a detail-oriented eye
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Office products.
- CAD, SketchUp, and/or Project Management Software experience preferred.
- Motivated to manage time effectively and meet critical deadlines
- Fiscally minded-must be able negotiate pricing and manage budget
- Excellent mathematical skills
- Able to clearly communicate, both verbally and in writing
- Desire to grow the company through networking
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or similar (Preferred)
- Minimum one (1) year experience in Construction estimating or site work (Preferred)
- Minimum one (1) year experience in Project/Account management (Preferred)
Job Type: Full-timePay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per yearBenefits:
