Role Overview
The Operations Lead will oversee Foodture's day-to-day operations in San Francisco, ensuring seamless execution across logistics, inventory, and customer service. This is an on-site position, ideal for a hands-on leader with a passion for operational excellence and a keen eye for process improvement. The Operations Lead will play a pivotal role in shaping Foodture's operational foundation as the company scales.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management:
Plan and oversee the transportation, delivery, and placement of vending machines and inventory to ensure seamless operations and cost efficiency.
Oversee the performance and maintenance of Foodture's vending machines in the San Francisco region.
Manage inventory levels to ensure timely restocking and minimize downtime.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality and efficiency.
Hands-On Support: Step in as a driver when needed to ensure timely delivery of inventory, equipment, and supplies, maintaining smooth operations during peak periods or staffing shortages.
Team Leadership:
Supervise and support a team of drivers, technicians and support staff to meet operational goals.
Train team members on standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
Process Improvement:
Identify inefficiencies in operations and implement solutions to improve performance.
Collaborate with leadership to develop scalable processes for expansion.
Customer Experience:
Respond to escalated service requests or complaints, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Monitor machine performance and work proactively to address issues.
