The Foundry Plant Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing the production strategy to world-class manufacturing and will also manage the overall plant activity, in line with the group manufacturing strategy.
Responsibilities
Communicate, exchange, coordinate, align, challenge, and internally benchmark current practices and performance indicators between Peer Group members, facilitate mutual assistance, share best practices.
Proactively manage and monitor plant-wide operations, including staffing, budgets, supply and demand planning, allocation, workload, stock management, production, logistics, engineering and support.
Ensure regular review with Peer Group and Group CI Manager.
Oversee and carry end responsibility for the plant's support functions, such as HR, Finance, Procurement - respecting Corporate guidelines collaboration with Corporate Support.
Identify areas for improvement; initiate, lead and/or oversee improvement projects and programs.
Attract, lead, coach, appraise and develop employees, ensure staffing and talent
management; exchange with Peer Group for support and/or help.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree preferred, or previous Management experience
Previous Plant, Operations, and General Manager experience
