Job Description:

Our client, an Education Nonprofit, is seeking an Office Coordinator to support the Office of their President. This person will provide high-level operational and project support to the Founder/President and Executive Director.

Rate: $33-40/hour

Salary: 70-85k

Responsibilities

1. Project Management: Work with senior leadership to coordinate activities related to strategic planning and evaluation of the programs. Manage timelines and communications for work with external consultants and experts.

2. Information Management: Be familiar with the daily schedule of meetings and VIP contacts, maintain principals' calendar entries as directed, and record and respond to mail/email/phone inquiries. Maintain electronic and hard copy filing systems.

3. Meetings and Events: Schedule videoconference meetings for principals, circulate materials, attend meetings, take notes, synthesize next steps. Complete follow-up including filing notes and materials and documenting next steps. Assist with planning and arrangements for in-person or remote events.

4. Logistics: Make reservations and schedule ground transportation. Provide backup for reception desk in collaboration with other team members.

5. Communications: Contribute to development of communications and reports for a variety of internal and external audiences and purposes.

6. Research: Conduct research on relevant contacts, organizations, initiatives, and studies.

Qualifications

a. Bachelor's degree; graduate degree in education, developmental psychology, sociology, or related field preferred

b. Minimum of 3 years of full-time work experience

c. Ability to take detailed notes and synthesize takeaways and next steps

d. Advanced technology and computer skills, including excellent ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and solve hardware and software problems, either remotely or in person

e. Experience with project coordination and management

f. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to liaise effectively with a variety of stakeholders, including evaluation researchers and educators

g. Strong written and oral communication skills with diverse audiences

h. Fluency in a modern foreign language a plus
