The National Information Standards Organization (www.niso.org) is seeking a highly-motivated Office Manager to join its team of dedicated professionals. The Office Manager is responsible for the overall operational management of the NISO office and organization, including: accounting, business and personnel administration, internal communications, and executive support, as well as clerical duties to ensure NISO's success. Routine responsibilities include payroll and benefit processing; financial management of accounts receivable and accounts payable; maintenance of business documentation and insurance renewals; NISO membership records management, renewal invoicing and payment collection; and providing support to the Executive Director and Board of Directors.

The successful applicant will have a Bachelor's degree (additional experience can stand in for a degree) and at least 5 years of administrative, organizational, or direct office management experience, preferably with a non-profit or association. Experience managing a QuickBooks accounting system is required. The Office Manager must be independent, flexible, and responsive. Excellent critical thinking and oral and written communications skills are vital, along with a high level of computer literacy, including: Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and PowerPoint. Association management platform experience is a plus, as is grant management experience.
