Job Description:

Position: Functional Tester

Location:Richmond, VA, hybrid 3x a week onsite (open to candidates open for relocation)

Duration: 12 months extending

*Please note: Not looking for automation heavy candidates. This is strictly manual testing!*

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of functional testing in agile lifecycle (does not need someone with lead experience)
• Extensive expertise with QA deliverables tool set - (Quality Center, SharePoint, and Microsoft Project/Excel)
• UI testing
• Jira experience
• Can write basic SQL queries
• Agile Methodology/SDLC - comfortable working with an offshore team
• Good Communication

Responsibilities

This Functional Tester will be responsible for testing a data resiliency application for the enterprise. The tester will be responsible for in-sprint testing, regression testing and defect management. This role will be 100% hands and needs someone strong enough in SQL in order to write and read scripts, alter joins, etc. This is a long-term opportunity that will sit in Richmond, VA on a hybrid model.

• Working Knowledge of Defect management process, Risk Framework and mitigation, and Enterprise Testing standards
• Extensive expertise with QA Deliverables tool set - (Quality Center, SharePoint, and Microsoft Project/Excel)

Compensation:

$52.08/hr on W2
