Job Purpose:
Cerberus is seeking an Associate/Senior Associate to join our Sales Operations team which supports Capital Formation. You will craft the fundraising materials and analytics/investor responses for the Cerberus fundraising group. You will support the business through the creation of high-quality marketing/sales presentations and provide accurate and thoughtful responses to incoming investor questions, including RFPs, Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs) and ad-hoc investor requests with respect to fundraising and account maintenance.
The role requires real estate industry and product knowledge, excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills. The successful candidate will liaise closely with multiple business areas and stakeholders to coordinate and manage investor requests while developing a knowledge of Cerberus' products and strategies.
Responsibilities & Deliverables:
Create fundraising materials including client presentations that incorporate investment analytics
Review extensive data and synthesize into concise and relevant points
Partner with product management and investment teams to market funds and firm strategies
Manage investor requests for information as part of the fundraising process
Write tailored, persuasive, and high-quality responses to RFPs to support the firm's global fundraising effort
Utilize the firm's tools and databases as well as collaborate with teams across the organization to craft well positioned and customized responses
Develop a strong knowledge of the firm's strategies, investment approach and operational/support functions to effectively respond to prospective investor requests
Contribute to a structured and organized RFP process that incorporates stakeholder inputs and strict deadlines
Complete monthly or quarterly recurring DDQs and RFPs for existing investors
Research competitors and their fundraising efforts and share key points with capital formation team
Proactively finding ways to improve processes within the marketing team as needed
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
Targeting individuals with up to 3-6 years of experience supporting fundraising/sales efforts for Real Estate strategies (including Direct Equity, CMBS, Real Estate Debt, Spec Sits, and Non-performing Loans)
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail in writing and editing documents
Highly proficient in PowerPoint and Excel
Strong work ethic
Self-starter with a willingness to learn and to apply knowledge
Ability to develop relationships and build credibility with different stakeholders across the firm
The base salary for this position is expected to be between $130,000.00 and $170,000.00. The base salary offered to the chosen candidate will be commensurate with a candidate's relevant experience and other qualifications for the position, as determined by the Company in its sole discretion. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and a robust benefits package.
