Job Description:
Roc Search is currently working with a leading state agency that is looking for an
Data Architect to join their team.
As a
Data Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and optimizing robust data systems for processing large-scale claims data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze existing relational databases and legacy systems to design improved data warehouses and data lakes.
- Develop and implement scalable, secure, and robust data solutions to handle high-scale claims.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy systems using AWS and Azure environments.
- Optimize data storage and processing pipelines for big data.
- Support data visualization efforts with Azure Power BI integration.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
- Expertise in AWS, Redshift, and Hadoop.

Data Warehouse, Data Lake, and Data Lakehouse experience.
- Proven track record working with large datasets and big data solutions.
- Strong understanding of system architecture and design.
- Experience building secure, scalable, and reliable data systems.

- Location - Austin, Texas (Hybrid)
- W2 Rate - $75-$85/hr dependent on relevant experience
- Length - 12 month Contract to Hire
