Provide advanced technical troubleshooting for applications and database systems.
Configure and tune Oracle and Linux OS parameters for optimal performance and resource utilization.
Understand server clustering techniques and their impact on database configuration and performance using Oracle CRS clustering software.
Manage standby databases, snapshots, and advanced database features such as Oracle Data Guard.
Apply database recovery techniques including RMAN and flashback/flash recovery area; perform exports, RMAN backups, and data extracts as needed.
Manage Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) environments and troubleshoot RAC nodes.
Participate in the design and review of application codes.
Demonstrate proven experience with Oracle-to-PostgreSQL integration.
Develop shell scripts for monitoring.
Create procedures and processes for data migration and application development.
Attend project-related meetings and conference calls for troubleshooting activities.
Develop strong working knowledge of key applications and their interactions with databases.
Provide application development, enhancements, modifications, performance tuning, and support services for assigned projects.
Possess knowledge of Oracle Applications, including Oracle Apps and Middleware technology management, schema updates, data migrations, tech upgrades, and patching.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of professional experience as an APPS Application DBA with Oracle, or Postgresql.
