Our client is an expert global data technology company. Currently, they are transitioning to a state-of-the-art composable, scalable, and flexible server framework. They are seeking a team player who will contribute to the installation, configuration, administration, maintenance, and overall support for Windows Server OS, WSUS, Citrix, VMware, Azure, GCP, HPe hardware, and Exchange / O365.
Responsibilities
Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain Windows Server 2012R2, 2016 environment to ensure security best practices, system policies, standards, and procedures.
Maintain and configure WSUS to ensure the latest Microsoft security patches are delivered in a timely manner and monitor for any zero-day vulnerabilities and exploits.
Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure proper change management is focused and that all documentation is completed.
Ensure that all support requests, projects, and other tasks are reviewed, prioritized, addressed, and completed in a timely and proficient manner.
Ensure that all training requirements, tools and other resources needed to proactively manage the environment are identified, acquired, and utilized.
Participate in rotation of after hour's on-call responsibilities and monthly weekend maintenance.
Qualifications
7-10 years LAN/WAN environments with enterprise class hardware.
5+ years supporting at least two of the following technologies: VMware, Citrix, Active Directory, Exchange / O365, SFTP.
Scripting proficiency with PowerShell or similar preferred.
Superior team building skills and expertise in communicating effectively with all levels.
Strong knowledge and expertise with diagnostic tools, enterprise applications, TCP/IP, networking and management of processes, projects, and personnel.
