Project
The Security Tools Engineer is responsible for administering, monitoring, and maintaining a comprehensive security infrastructure. This includes application and container security tools, SIEM, network security tools, and vulnerability management systems. The role is pivotal in implementing corporate security standards and ensuring business processes align with security best practices. It requires a blend of technical expertise and strategic planning to enhance security operations while minimizing business disruptions.
Key Responsibilities
Design and maintain secure technical infrastructure for data protection.
Collaborate with enterprise teams to optimize endpoint security and ensure compliance.
Oversee security tools, orchestrating automation to enhance efficiency.
Stay updated on security trends and lead the implementation of innovative solutions.
Provide hands-on expertise for incident response and day-to-day security operations.
Technology Requirements
Extensive experience with Cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).
Proficiency with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
Skilled in Splunk, SIEM, SOAR technologies, and Docker containerization.
Expertise in scripting languages like Python or Go.
Must-Have Skills
Splunk and related SIEM/SOAR technologies (e.g., Cribl, Demisto).
