Under general supervision and with minimal guidance, the Oracle EPM Consultant will leverage independent judgment and technical expertise to address complex, often confidential business challenges. The position involves supporting and enhancing current on-premises applications while contributing to an Oracle EPM Cloud upgrade project.
Key Responsibilities:
Utilize expertise in Oracle EPM Cloud Applications to develop solutions that enhance planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and consolidation processes.
Automate data administration tasks using Python, Groovy, APIs, and EPM Automate.
Perform system integration, performance testing, and user acceptance testing.
Streamline global FP&A processes by automating manual tasks.
Provide technical support for on-premises systems during migration to EPM Cloud.
Administer Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) applications.
Offer end-user support for data load processes through FDMEE for Hyperion Planning and HFM.
Support month-end closing processes, including metadata updates and report maintenance.
Required Experience:
Completed at least two full-scale implementations of on-premise to EPM Cloud migrations, including EPBCS, FCC, EDM, and Narrative Reporting.
10+ years of technical experience with Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management products.
5+ years of implementation experience in Oracle EPM Cloud products.
Expertise in reconciling data migration from on-premises HFM and planning to FCCS and PBCS.
Technical Expertise:
Proficiency in Oracle EPM components, including ASO, BSO, Calculation Scripts, Business Rules, Load Rules, MaxL, and MDX.
Advanced skills in scripting languages such as Batch, Python, and PowerShell.
Hands-on experience with EPM Data Integration, Groovy Business Rules, and EPM Automate.
Familiarity with SQL Server databases and SQL scripting.
Financial Knowledge:
Solid understanding of income statements, balance sheets, cash flow, and financial consolidation methods.
Experience with accounting principles, long-range planning, and budgeting concepts.
General Skills:
Proficiency in Hyperion Planning and Smart View.
Advanced Excel skills and solid MS Office experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving mindset.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
