Job Description:
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Billing Specialist in Cerritos, CA! This is a permanent opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Review monthly pre-bills for clients and attorneys
- Edit pre-bills and work in coordination with the billing staff
- Communicate with attorneys and clients who require special terms and adjustments
- Verify accuracy of billing and supporting documentation of write-offs per firm policy and make corrections as necessary
- Electronically redact and transmit client invoices
- Input disbursement charges monthly
- Scan invoices and other documents
- Perform e-billing
- Mail monthly client invoices and reminder statements
Qualifications:
- 2 - 5 years of e-billing experience
- Some billing/accounting experience in a legal environment a must
- Knowledge of Aderant or other legal billing software a plus
- Ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task a variety of assignments in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner both verbally and in writing with internal customers and firm clients
- Attention to detail a must
Salary:$75,000 to $85,000 per year
