Viridan Group is working with a fast-growing IPP and developer of utility-scale Solar, Wind, and BESS assets.
Their team seeks a Junior Project Developer to join their office in San Francisco. This person will support projects from conception through construction, as well as acquisition due diligence. Initial projects will be focused in WECC across Solar, BESS, and Wind.
Requirements
Perform due diligence on sites and potential projects targeted for acquisition.
Collaborate with the Development team to develop and implement effective strategies in WECC.
Participate in communications with stakeholders, including landowners, and municipal leaders.
Track the execution of project timelines, ensuring the prompt and effective completion of project milestones and key deliverables.
Attend site visits, landowner meetings, and municipal engagements.
Support applications and external communications related to zoning, permitting, compliance, and more
Qualifications
1-2+ years of renewable energy project experience
Bachelor's degree focused on engineering, business environmental studies, or related field
Passion for Renewable Energy
Familiarity with GIS and/or related platforms is a plus.

This is a Hybrid position based out of San Francisco
Candidates must be willing to work up to 4 days / week in the office.
