This intimate property, renowned for its personalized service and elevated dining experiences, seeks a talented leader to oversee its front-of-house Food and Beverage operations, including restaurant service, beverage programs, and boutique banquet spaces. Position Summary
The Director of Food and Beverage will oversee service operations for the hotel's restaurant, lounge, in-room dining, and banquet spaces. This role requires a hands-on leader who excels at managing service teams, ensuring luxury standards, and driving guest satisfaction while achieving financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Service and Beverage Leadership
Oversee all front-of-house Food and Beverage operations, ensuring exceptional service delivery and attention to detail.
Develop and implement innovative beverage programs, including wine, spirits, and craft cocktails, that align with the property's luxury brand.
Partner with the culinary team to ensure seamless collaboration and execution of dining services.
Banquets and Event Management
Lead banquet service operations, ensuring events are executed to the highest standards of luxury and personalization.
Collaborate with the Sales and Events team to design and deliver unique guest experiences for private and group events.
Team Development
Recruit, train, and mentor front-of-house Food and Beverage staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
Conduct regular training programs to ensure staff are knowledgeable about menus, beverage offerings, and service protocols.
Provide ongoing coaching and professional development to maintain the property's high standards of service.
Financial Oversight
Manage the Food and Beverage department's budget, with a focus on beverage cost controls, labor management, and revenue generation.
Conduct regular financial reviews, including P&L analysis, to identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective measures.
Monitor inventory and purchasing for beverage and service needs, ensuring alignment with budgetary goals.
Guest Experience and Brand Alignment
Champion guest satisfaction initiatives, ensuring all dining and event experiences reflect the highest standards of luxury hospitality.
Actively respond to guest feedback to continuously improve service delivery and enhance the guest experience.
Maintain alignment with the property's boutique brand, ensuring all Food and Beverage operations contribute to its unique identity.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years in Food and Beverage leadership roles, preferably in boutique or luxury hotel settings.
Skills:
Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to manage budgets, cost controls, and financial performance.
