Technical Project Manager

Location: Boston (5 days onsite)

Reporting To: Engineering Lead

Seeking a proactive and technically savvy Senior Program/Project Manager to lead the development of an innovative radar-based product. This role focuses on strategic facilitation, requiring deep expertise across hardware, embedded software, machine learning, and web/mobile applications. This person will act as the critical link between teams, ensuring seamless collaboration, removing obstacles, and driving timely project delivery.

Most Important Responsibilities:

Strategic Facilitation: Oversee project structure, dependencies, and cross-functional collaboration across hardware, software, supply chain, and manufacturing teams.Project Planning: Develop clear roadmaps with roles, responsibilities, milestones, and objectives.Documentation Management: Maintain project plans, technical specs, timelines, and reports for all stakeholders.Obstacle Removal: Identify and resolve bottlenecks to keep the projects on track.Process Coordination: Ensure proper task sequencing and alignment to meet milestones and priorities.Supply Chain & Manufacturing: Align production schedules and resources with project timelines, addressing constraints proactively.Collaboration with Product Owners: Foster cohesive integration across product ecosystems by aligning technical needs and interdependencies.Cross-Functional Support: Provide resources, information, and timing to support autonomous teams while maintaining project visibility.

What you can bring to the table to impact this role, team, and organization:
  • Master's Degree or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years in technical project management, preferably in hardware/software product development.
  • Startup experience or exposure to ambient sensing and sensor fusion technologies is a plus.
  • Technical expertise and strong understanding of hardware, embedded systems, machine learning, application development, and supply chain processes.
  • Proven ability to overcome obstacles and drive efficient project progress.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Bonus Skills:
  • Experience with IoT or radar-based product development.
  • Knowledge of supply chain and manufacturing workflows.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Data-Driven decision-making capabilities.
