Chick-fil-A Bixby is seeking an Executive Director of Operations to provide leadership over all areas of the Chick-fil-A restaurants that have a direct impact on all critical success factors of the business. These areas include Operations & Guest Experience, Sales & Brand Growth, Talent & Team Experience, and Business Administration & Financial Stewardship. The Executive Director of Operations will ensure that the Chick-fil-A Bixby is consistently maintained, appropriately staffed, operationally excellent, and completely functional. The ultimate goal for this person is to work alongside the Owner/Operator and Leadership Team to play a key role in growing the business and managing both restaurants.
POSITION KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Build and develop a team of leaders that can execute the vision of the business
Ongoing evaluation of business operations and streamlining systems/processes to improve efficiency and build sustainable sales and profit growth
Oversee/ensure documentation of all employment-related issues
Lead and manage daily systems and processes
Hold team accountable for operational excellence
Intentionally invest in and develop team members and leaders
Be involved in both strategic and tactical level decision making
Ensure payroll is completed bi-weekly
Ensure all billing and invoicing is current
Ensure effective inventory control and levels of food, paper, kitchen and cleaning supplies
Vendor orders completed in an accurate and timely manner
Chick-fil-A Cares and Customer complaints resolved in a timely manner
Know, set, and evolve store goals with a focus on key metrics
Utilize/track/monitor data to collaborate with Directors to identify patterns, trends, successes and shortcomings to help determine operational needs
Evaluate logistical needs and plan ahead to ensure that the store runs with excellence during peak times
Provide strategic communication across the organization
Meet regularly with the Operator and Leadership Team to set goals, train, and achieve results
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED:
Bachelor's degree preferred
5+ years of management experience and results building and leading high-performance teams
Strong ability to communicate and lead vision and strategy for the business
Self-starter that demonstrates an eagerness to learn and assume senior responsibility
High level of customer service experience and genuine enjoyment in serving others
Excels with systematic and scalable operations
Excels with communication and follow-through while serving as a team-player on the leadership team
Servant leader with a strong sense of stewardship
Integrating leader that owns his/her role in leading the team
Highly organized and systems-oriented
