Key Responsibilities:
Priority 1: 20%
Performs resolution of moderately complex hardware and problems affecting application systems.
Priority 2: 20%
Designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents, installs and maintains moderately complex software/hardware enhancements to support current release levels.
Priority 3: 15%
Performs change and problem management using standard tools following FRS change management policies and procedures for software/hardware propagation to other platforms and/or environments. Ensures conformance with existing system capability.
Priority 4: 15%
Participates in evaluating design strategies. Identifies potential design problems and makes recommendations for improvements.

Utilizes available tools for automation of manual processes.
Priority 6: 10%
Interprets technical standards to apply programming and design techniques.

Working Conditions/Essential Functions:
Working Conditions: General office working environment. Will require the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, etc. May be exposed to moderate noise from equipment.
Physical Demands: Requires some degree of sitting (for prolonged periods of time), standing, lifting carrying, pushing, pulling more than 20 lbs.
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; hours may vary due to assignments. May require extended work hours, as needed. Some overnight travel may be required. May be subject to on-call and call back as needed.

Product Development - Engineering
Designs, validates, and brings new products to market. Specifies precise new product functional requirements; designs, tests and integrates components to produce final designs; and evaluates the design's overall effectiveness, cost, reliability, and safety. Designs, develops, executes and evaluates fitness-for-use testing, product specifications and process validation plans; creates and reviews material part specifications and bills of materials. Collaborates with internal manufacturing partners, contract manufacturers, designers and product specialists to optimize designs for manufacturability. Utilizes CAD (Computer Aided Design) or CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) systems to model new designs and produce detailed engineering drawings

Knowledge: General knowledge pertaining to concepts and principles in functional area. General knowledge of department/business lines, Reserve Banks, and / or System operations, policies, procedures and technologies.
Communications: Strong oral and written communication skills, and attention to details are required. Acts as a team player, is cooperative and encourages collaboration.
Risk Management: Responsible for understanding and applying risk management discipline in decision making and contributing to his or her area’s risk management function.
Decision Making: Works under direction with infrequent checks; follows established methods and clear-cut policy. Makes decisions when general instructions or established methods indicate action to be taken.
