How will you make an impact? 

As the 2nd shift Calibration Administrator, you will ensure equipment calibration and verification schedules are maintained to prevent potential issues from a quality perspective for over or under torqued hardware. 

What will you do? 

• Maintain 3rd party calibration schedule and submit equipment for proper calibration




• Send out equipment to calibration schedule and review and maintain certificates as quality records




• Complete verification schedule for drills ensuring all are completed on time and data is recorded in FIXX database




• Flag any verification items that are not in specification and have appropriate Engineering and Quality resource complete an impact assessment.




• Publish verification schedule in advance to equipment owners and ensure all tools are verified as required.  If tools are not found block in database until tools are found and verified.




• Enter any new equipment into calibration or verification schedule prior to release to the production area.




• Define and update appropriate company procedures or work instructions relative to calibration




• Conduct training for employees and engineers related to the calibration and verification process.




• Coordinate any repair of tooling with the Engineering technicians




• Work to ensure adequate tooling for all areas is available to meet production needs

How will you get here?  

Education:  

• Associates degree preferred

Experience:  

• Calibration and Verification experience preferred




• Record Management experience preferred

 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:  

• Detail Oriented




• Able to create balanced tool schedule that works with production needs




• Ensures all records are fully complete and posted to database




• Ensures all impact assessments are fully completed and records retained




• Able to monitor tooling for drifts and determine when tool needs reworked or replaced.
