Threat Tec is seeking a highly experienced Adversarial Forces Intelligence Analyst to join our team at the Marine Corps Warfighting Lab in Quantico, VA. The ideal candidate will leverage deep expertise in threat analysis, strategic-level planning, wargaming, and adversary force design to support and enhance U.S. Marine Corps training and experimentation.
Key Responsibilities
Threat Analysis & Assessment
Conduct comprehensive threat analysis and assessments to support training on emergent and re-emergent threats, leveraging sources ranging from open-source unclassified to classified Secret and, potentially, Top Secret/SCI.
Perform global, regional, and country threat assessments, focusing on near-peer threats (China, Russia) and 2+3 threats (North Korea, Iran, and Violent Extremist Organizations).
Strategic Planning & Wargaming
Utilize 5+ years of experience with DoD organizations and 2+ years of experience in a Joint or Service Headquarters environment to inform strategic-level planning, wargaming, and training exercises for the U.S. Marine Corps.
Conduct high-level planning to develop and refine wargame scenarios that accurately reflect current and evolving threat landscapes.
Adversary Forces Design
Research and analyze adversary forces in-depth, evaluating their organization, structure, tactics, equipment, and capabilities.
Design adversary forces for live-force experiments or wargames, ensuring realistic, challenging training scenarios for participating units.
Exercise Force Development
Develop, manage, train, educate, and equip exercise force units to act as adversary forces in live-force experiments.
Provide mentorship and guidance to ensure high-quality and effective training delivery.
Collaboration& Information Exchange
Collaborate with interagency partners (e.g., DHS, DOJ) to facilitate information sharing and enhance interoperability.
Foster strong professional relationships with diverse stakeholders to ensure alignment of objectives and resources.
Required Qualifications
Experience
Minimum of 12 years of experience in threat analysis, threat assessment, or related fields.
Demonstrated proficiency in researching and studying potential adversary forces, including advanced comprehension of their tactics, organization, equipment, and capabilities.
Expertise
Proven experience conducting strategic-level planning and wargaming in support of the U.S. Marine Corps.
Strong knowledge of near-peer threats (China, Russia) and 2+3 threats (North Korea, Iran, and Violent Extremist Organizations).
Familiarity with designing adversary forces for live-force experiments or wargames to ensure realistic scenarios.
Ability to lead and manage exercise force units, providing effective training and ensuring high-quality performance.
Skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Clearance
Active security clearance is preferred (Secret or above).
Desired Qualifications
A Master's degree and/or Ph.D. in a related field is highly desired.
