Job Description:

The marketing specialist works in a wide range of marketing functions, including communications, advertising, branding, digital, and social media. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and an organized multitasker, able to handle many diverse projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
This position pays $18- $19 an hour depending on experience.

*Essential Duties & Responsibilities:*  

* Support the development of content and campaigns for the intranet, website, social media and company store. 

* Compile forecasts, competitor analyses, and consumer trends 

* Assist with the development of affiliate partnerships. 

* Prepare marketing activity reports and metrics for program success 

* Support marketing efforts that drive the brand strategy and serve immediate and long-term business goals via processes, content, and team member experience. 

* Special projects as assigned. 

* Support the marketing department in creating content for multiple mediums, conducting competitor and SWAT analysis, and internal and external branding campaigns. 

* Plan and framework new website development and demand generation strategies 

* Maintain inventory of sales support materials, ensuring all are current and accurate, and coordinate the creation of new materials when necessary. 

* Stay up to date on marketing trends and share learnings with marketing team 

* Assist in the creation of marketing communications. 

* Assist with tradeshows and various company events both on- and off-site

* Manage the new customer packets for residential customers with phone follow-up and potential leads

*Education/Qualification:*  

* Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in marketing, advertising, graphic design, business, communications or related field 

* Familiarity with Adobe CC software (Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator) and Microsoft Office Suite required

* Working knowledge and interest in visual presentation 

* Experience in budgeting and forecasting 

* Excellent communication skills (listening, writing, interpersonal) with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with a broad group of stakeholders to foster trust and partnership 

* Must have a high level of creativity 

* Proven ability to work with all levels in the organization

*Physical Requirements:*

* While performing the essential functions of this job the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands or arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and is occasionally required to lift and/or move heavy objects.  

* The work also requires the following physical abilities in order to perform the essential job functions: balancing, climbing, grasping, hearing, mental acuity, pulling, pushing, repetitive motion, speaking, talking, and visual acuity.
