Job Description Summary
To provide assistance in support of Radiology clinical and investigator-initiated research studies; assists with study design, data collection and analysis; assists with collection maintenance & reporting of research data; supports faculty in research endeavors including grant proposals, manuscript preparation and unfunded research projects.
Essential Duties
40% Assists with MRI protocol development, data collection, and image reconstruction including development of software for image and data analysis.
40% Assists with preparation of manuscripts and articles for publications; assists with preparation of grant proposals to obtain funding in support of research studies; performs literature searches related to faculty research interests.
20% Assists with collection, entering and maintaining research data into study database; prepares documentation and data for research progress reports to study sponsors; assists with completion of Institutional Review Board (IRB), Clinical Research Center (CRC), and/or sponsor study documents.
Additional Information:
Minimum Education and Skills/Experience Required/Desired
Bachelor's Degree in biological or physical sciences, health sciences or medical field, or equivalent combination of education experience; experience in research capacity desired; knowledge or experience in specialty may be desired; experience performing basic laboratory procedures may be desired; computer skill required with knowledge of image processing software applications desired.
