WHAT YOU'LL DO
This role supports the Transactional Sales team by managing vendor relationships, developing product strategies, and enabling the sales team through training and data insights. Responsibilities include collaborating on marketing campaigns, optimizing e-commerce offerings, and staying informed on emerging audio-visual technologies to drive revenue growth and competitive positioning.
Day-To-Day Responsibilities:
Manage Manufacturer/Vendor relationships as they pertain to the Transactional Sales Team.
Develop strategies, including product- and manufacturer-specific outbound campaigns utilizing promotions and trade-up programs.
Collaborate with Internet Marketing on products and bundles to be featured on e-commerce platforms.
Oversee and manage product training for the Inside Sales team.
Enable the sales team with manufacturer and product reporting.
Analyze market data to support competitive product positioning and strategy.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the audio-visual industry, including hardware, software, and emerging technologies.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Must-Haves:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in product management, category management, or a similar role within the e-commerce industry.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful product strategies.
Experience with data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel, Google Analytics, or BI software.
Nice-To-Haves:
Familiarity with PIM systems and e-commerce platforms.
Ability to perform detailed competitive analysis and market research.
Strong numerical skills for pricing strategy development and ROI analysis.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for vendor negotiations and cross-team collaborations.
Strong relationship-building skills to manage vendor partnerships effectively.
Team player with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Detail-oriented with strong time management skills.
