Shift: Shift 1

Flexibility in shift between the hours of 0600-1700 to meet clinic and candidate needs.

Job Summary:

Under direction, oversees, monitors, assists, provides feedback and resources to , and supports the assigned staff in order to maintain an organized, efficient clinic. Supports the leadership team in policy/procedure/protocol maintenance, modification and development. Coordinates the scheduling of complex multidisciplinary care across the network for all established patients receiving care. In partnership with the patient, navigates the health care system including facilitating communication among patients, family, patient care team, multiple clinic departments and providers. Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

A minimum of 2 years of experience in complex medical scheduling is required. A minimum of 4 years is required if no Associate Degree.
Experience with complex oncology scheduling systems is preferred.

Associate Degree or Equivalent is required. Without the Associate Degree, a high school diploma or equivalent and at least four years of experience in complex medical scheduling is required.
Completion of a medical terminology course is preferred. Bachelor's degree is preferred.

SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:

Knowledge of medical terminology. Professional written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to identify critical issues and exercise independent judgment. Demonstrated detail orientation with the ability to analyze, problem solve organize and manage multiple priorities. Excellent follow up skills a must. Proficiency in Word and Excel programs, Microsoft Office systems. Critical thinking skills.
