Are you a motivated and detail-oriented professional with a knack for procurement and supplier management? Join our dynamic Purchasing team as a Purchasing Specialist! In this role, you will manage the procurement process, source suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure the timely delivery of goods and services to support our operations.
Responsibilities:
Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish relationships to ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions.
Collaborate with internal teams to understand purchasing needs and develop procurement strategies.
Issue purchase orders, monitor inventory levels, and track deliveries to ensure timely receipt of goods.
Plan for future needs utilizing historical data as well as sales forecasts.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.
Review supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Resolve vendor issues and discrepancies in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
Ability to work independently, problem solve, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Highly proficient in Excel.
Experience using ERP systems; experience with NetSuite is a plus.
Experience in manufacturing and inventory management is a plus.
