The Materials Planner guarantees the availability of specialized and complex materials to perform the Production plan.
What your day will look like:
To assure that the packaging materials are available in the factory when they are required, by programming the materials deliveries in alignment with the production plan to make it feasible.
To resolve and maintain the efficient inventory and safety stock levels minimizing excess and obsolescence, by analyzing the materials requirements, lead times, the expected service level and potential risks, to ensure production coverage.
To assure accurate flow of administrative processes that involve materials planning by solving issues related with material deliveries in collaboration with the related areas, to keep process compliance and maintain a good commercial relation with the suppliers.
Develop, implement and supervise the parameters and ordering process of specific materials to adjust material delivery schedule according to Production Plan changes.
Develop continuous improvement activities to develop efficiencies, cost optimization and agility in planning processes, materials transportation, inventory utilization and contribute to Suppliers' management.
Identify potential risks and trigger actions based on level of impact and probability. Lead definition of workflow to complete daily activities with agility, efficiency and with quality.
Provide inputs to global category responsible to improve the way to collaborate and contribute to the Vendor delivery performance.
Participate and drive actions related to Supplier Capacity (S&OP) process.
Digital skills (Power BI): Create dashboards, KPI's, interactive visuals and management workspaces, develop data integration processes to extract, transform, load data and data analysis expressions, interpret risks & opportunities through insight to make faster and better decisions.
Provide support, participate proactively and demonstrate leadership on QEHS in your area.
Align with the QEHS legal requirements, standards (External / internal) and others applicable to your area.
Are you up for the challenge?
+3 years of experience in Materials and Inventory Management.
Excel at advanced and SAP is a must. Power BI desirable.
