Job Description:
CUSTODIAN - Part Time
The Township of Teaneck is looking for part time Custodians. Shifts include 7:00am-3:30pm and 3:30-11:30pm both weekdays and weekends.
Custodians will be responsible for all phases of cleaning and maintenance within the building including office areas, corridors, stairwells, elevators, restrooms, gymnasiums, classrooms, conference rooms, exterior walkways, walls and windows. Typical tasks will include but are not limited to: setting up and breaking down tables and chairs for a wide variety of events, locking doors and securing the facility, assisting with snow removal and other emergency situations, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, stripping and refinishing of floors, dusting, cleaning restrooms, replenishing bathroom supplies, trash removal and vacuuming carpets.
