Job Description:

Whatley Health Services is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician to join our growing healthcare team.

Whatley is a private, non-profit community health center whose mission is to provide primary health care services to the medically underserved residents of West Alabama. Headquartered in West Tuscaloosa, Whatley has 10 locations throughout 7 counties.

The Internist will be responsible for planning and implementation of primary care services according to health care plans and written protocols. Provides primary, secondary and tertiary care, within the context of a multidisciplinary team. Ensure monthly productivity and compliance initiatives.

Qualifications, Education, Training and Experience:

• Medical degree from an accredited medical school and a current license to practice medicine in Alabama.
• Must have completed residency for board eligibility; board certification preferred.
• Must be sensitive to the needs of people with diverse cultural backgrounds.

This is a full-time position with benefits (Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm). Salary will commensurate with experience.
