About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant to work within the CIB Business Solutions and Enablement (BSE) department, focused on Markets, Risk, and Capital Execution. Initiatives may include regulation-drive priorities such as FRTB, Standardized Approach for CVA as well as strategic initiatives to build out target architecture for modeling and risk calculations or deliver new product capabilities. In this role, you will:
  • Lead cross functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute large scale, cross-functional programs. This includes development and ongoing management of plan and execution through full delivery lifecycle.
  • Proactively engage program sponsors and stakeholder leadership in prioritization decisions.
  • Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, manage delivery risk, and create efficiencies
  • Support development of architecture strategy and design for key business capabilities. Develop robust roadmaps for delivery with core stakeholders across Trading, Risk, Operations, Finance, Technology, and Quantitative Modeling teams.
  • Drive resolution of complex problems through structured analysis, assessment of solution options, and proposals with well-formed communications
  • Lead program governance / stakeholder forums with clear and timely reporting of status, identification and mitigation of material risks and issues, and robust dependency management.
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of financial services industry or investment banking experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of risk management
  • Strong leadership, relationship management, influencing and execution skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience consulting with internal clients, partnering with cross functional teams and multiple stakeholder groups, and executing on enterprise-wide projects
  • Knowledge and understanding of quantitative analysis and modeling of financial products
  • Experience in problem analysis, solution implementation, and change management
  • Ability to influence executive decision-making and successfully negotiate critical issue resolution related to program initiatives
  • Prior experience in driving change within trading and risk/capital systems or related initiatives, with hands-on experience in business process/solution architecture design
  • Ability to identify and articulate issues, risks, and proposed solutions to various levels of staff and management
  • Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)

Pay Ranges:

Charlotte, NC: $96,600 - $171,800

New York, NY: $115,900 - $206,100

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
