Sr. Talent Acquisition (TA) Specialist will provide support to the Human Resources department in the areas of recruiting and onboarding. This position will work directly with the Talent Acquisition Manager and TA Specialist to research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization. This role will serve as a touchpoint for the other TA specialist on hard to fill jobs to assist with creative sourcing strategies.
This position is primarily full-time remote. Selected candidate must reside in North Carolina and be available to travel to the home office (Morrisville, NC) for onsite team meetings and for other business need travel as required.
Responsibilities & Duties
Recruiting/Onboarding of New Hires and Rehires
Lead recruitment projects for specialized positions including senior and executive level
Assist with training new TA Specialists
Provide suggestions and recommendations on best practices to TA Specialists in the areas of sourcing and recruiting
Develop, coordinate and execute all phases of the recruiting process for assigned positions to include posting, sourcing, screening, background, offer and onboarding
Screen applications assessing applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills and experience and select qualified candidates for consideration
Research, develop and implement effective, creative and innovative recruiting and sourcing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization
Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure understanding of the recruitment process, assist in developing structured interview questionnaires, and provide guidance as they move through the recruiting process
Collaborate with hiring managers, department heads and Class/Comp Manager during the offer process
Attend and participate in job fairs as appropriate
Act as a point of contact with staffing agencies on positions needing agency assistance; Research to identify staffing agencies for niche position
Keep abreast of industry trends to recommend new tools and methodologies for improving recruitment and candidate assessments
As a Talent Partner play a critical role in identifying, engaging, and nurturing prospective candidates for various roles across Alliance
Recruiting Programs
Assist with internship recruiting and onboarding
Monitor, track, and report referrals for the employee referral program ensuring referrals are documented appropriately
In collaboration with the TA Manager, assist in identifying and implementing strategies to attract diverse candidates to the organization
General HR
Assist in maintaining compliance standards for HR recordkeeping related to recruiting
Assist with information gathering and reporting as needed (i.e Published Report, referral report, staffing ad hoc reports)
Serve as backup for Talent Acquisition Manager when needed
Minimum Requirements
Education & Experience
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field from an accredited college/university and three (3) years of full life cycle recruiting experience required including recruiting Senior Leadership and Executive level positions.
Experience must include sourcing both passive and active candidate markets using effective sourcing practices, conducting interviews, coaching and providing feedback to hiring managers and interviewers, and working in a HCM system.
Experience in the development and implementation of recruitment strategies, including, market research on job profiles, employer branding, interviewer training, candidate experience enhancements, and talent pipeline building.
Preferred:
• Experience working in Human Resources for State or Local Government in North Carolina preferred.
• Experience in healthcare recruitment strongly preferred.
• General knowledge and application of employment laws and regulations; including working knowledge of employment law as it is applied to recruitment.

Salary Range
$66,240.00-$89,424.00/Annually
Exact compensation will be determined based on the candidate's education, experience, external market data and consideration of internal equity.
