Position: Staff Product Manager
Job Location: 850 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066
Duties: Develop and articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with overall company goals. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product decisions. Create and maintain a product roadmap, considering customer needs, market trends, and business priorities. Prioritize features and enhancements based on a deep understanding of customer requirements and company objectives. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer support, to ensure alignment and successful product development. Define detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Communicate product requirements to development teams, ensuring a clear understanding of expectations. Lead the product development process, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of features and products. Collaborate with engineering teams in an agile development environment. Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of product features. Analyze product performance data and user feedback to inform future iterations. This position does not supervise employees.
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or the equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering (Any), or related area and 5 years of experience in product management; OR Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering (Any), or related area and 7 years of experience in product management.
Skills required: Experience using customer research methodologies including survey design, first-click testing, and card sorting to gather insights and inform decision-making processes. Experience designing mocks and wireframes using UI prototyping tools, including Figma and Lucidchart, to facilitate product development and iteration. Experience performing deep-dive analysis on data to acquire necessary insights on R and Python or Excel. Experience creating product requirements by creating epics and writing user stories in Jira. Experience with roadmap planning by prioritization and trade-offs of initiatives. Experience with prioritization frameworks: RICE and MoSCoW. Experience creating dashboards to communicate insights to relevant stakeholders using Tableau and orchestrating ideation among stakeholders using Mural. Experience setting up and running AB tests, AA tests, Pre/Post tests, orthogonal tests, and experiments using Expo to take informed decision for different customer segments. Experience with software development processes, including Agile and Scrum methodologies, for product development. Experience collaborating with engineering teams to define system design and architecture. Experience partnering with data science teams to determine machine learning models for specific use cases using linear regression, decision trees, and gradient boosting algorithms. Experience building SQL and Splunk queries to extract data from multiple databases and identify patterns in customer behavior by creating useful tables and views. Experience with front end technologies, Content Delivery Network (CDN) and web server architecture design for optimizing web and mobile app performance optimization to improve metrics, including Largest Content Paint, First Input Delay, Content Layout Shift, and Interaction to Next Paint. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
Salary Range: $157,636/year to $286,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
