Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Mental Health Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of child and adolescent development and have experience working with children, adolescents, and their families. This role will involve providing therapeutic support to individuals and families experiencing a range of mental health and emotional challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions with children, adolescents, and their families.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs and clinical best practices.Assess client needs through comprehensive intake assessments and ongoing evaluations.Maintain accurate and timely client records in accordance with ethical and legal guidelines.Collaborate with other professionals, such as school counselors, physicians, and other therapists, to ensure coordinated care.Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.Educate clients and families about mental health conditions and coping strategies.Participate in ongoing professional development to maintain clinical expertise.Adhere to all ethical and legal standards of professional practice.
