Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Associate Director to assist in the leadership and administration of our early childhood education center. The Associate Director will work closely with the Director to oversee daily operations, ensure program quality, and support staff, families, and children in achieving their goals.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Support the Director in overseeing the daily operations of the center, including staffing, compliance, and program development.

  • Ensure all activities align with state licensing requirements and accreditation standards.

  • Assist in managing and mentoring staff, including conducting performance evaluations and professional development.

  • Collaborate with families to address concerns and foster strong relationships.

  • Monitor classroom environments to ensure safety, organization, and curriculum implementation.

  • Coordinate and lead meetings with staff, families, and community partners.

  • Develop and maintain records, reports, and documentation as required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in early childhood education, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

  • Valid teaching certification that includes Preschool is required.

  • Strong knowledge of child development, curriculum planning, and state licensing requirements.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to build positive relationships with staff, families, and community members.

  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
