The JAGGAER PMO team is looking for a Temporary Program Manager to cover a handful of projects during our PM's maternity leave. This Temp PM will plan, lead, organize, and motivate teams to deliver high-quality, successful Programs. Main roles and responsibilities will be to define project scope, work with project resources to set deadlines, clarify project team responsibilities, resolve project issues, and monitor the progress of large, technical, complex projects, often for implementation of multiple JAGGAER solutions. You will be responsible for the delivery of demonstrable progress toward defined success metrics and then those metrics post-project completion. Program Managers ensure a practical implementation, manage resource allocation, and rollout that maximizes solution value and audit effectiveness of change management.

Principal Responsibilities

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Program and portfolio management.

  • Direct concurrent high–visibility projects impacting multiple business functions with direct impacts on the metrics on the corporate scorecards

  • Responsible for all aspects of program development involving cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of internal products, programs, or administrative systems and change management.

  • Use extensive business operational experience to apply best practices and define and document Visio business flows, policies, and procedures throughout the organization.

  • Independently build and maintain project plans to support the visibility and traceability of complex and cross-functional projects that will drive weekly dashboard status readouts to project teams and executives

  • Supporting assigned executive to provide portfolio-level management of their org. Includes meeting with executive’s direct reports monthly and a monthly readout to the executive around progress, health, success metrics

  • Take the lead in driving collaboration with other JAGGAER departments related to the projects.

  • Proactively and consistently identify, mitigate, and manage project risks.

  • Manage all project controls, including, at times, budget vs actual for project hours,

  • Responsible for driving project meetings, inclusive of meeting agenda, scheduling, driving conversations, sending out meeting notes and action items


Audit of accomplishing success criteria post implementation of programs and projects with dashboard monthly presented to the executives.

Position Requirements

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:


  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • 5+ years of Project Management Experience, the majority of within PMO org

  • 3-5 years of business operations project management experience

  • Experience in a SaaS organization is a plus

  • Excellent project management, interpersonal, negotiation, communication, presentation, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient in the use of Smartsheet, Visio, Excel

  • Ability to consistently act independently, take initiative, and resolve tasks and issues.

  • Strong executive-level presence and experience in facilitation.

  • Is experienced, confident, articulate, succinct, professional, and has executive presence, sound judgment, and critical thinking skills.

  • Innovative, forward-thinking, with the ability to develop and scrutinize best practices.

  • Early adopter and able to influence change.

What does success look like?


  • You are providing on a set cadence weekly templated program status reports that clearly outline progression, risk, and upcoming tasks to direct and indirect stakeholders of the project.

  • You are responsive to your peers, managers, and executives.

  • You take extensive, articulate, clear, and direct notes sent out on the same day of meetings.

  • Your project plans are accurate, descriptive, and updated daily.

  • If you are unsure, you ask or research to better understand the project and program you are supporting.
