Salary: $55.00 USD Hourly - $60.00 USD Hourly

This position is fully onsite in Walpole, MA - MUST be local
Ongoing W2 contract
Area:
- Identifies technological trends by visiting specific technology fairs, contacting suppliers & universities, and other sources.
- Researches various relevant information sources to gather technical information about supplier and competitor products in the market.
- Researches respective patents and technical databases.
- Analyzes functionalities of semi-products and products, drawing conclusions for the product portfolio.
- Derives suggestions for strategic direction for R&D management based on trends.
- Expected to adopt existing concepts and methodologies to create and open up new ways of approaching and fulfilling specific internal and external client requests or project requirements.
- Integrates analysis, development, testing, and implementation.
- Interprets and influences policy and guidelines in their area of business/technology.
- Develops processes and systems to deliver functional objectives.
- Plans own work according to targets agreed within a quarterly to annual cycle, integrating resources in a project-driven environment.
- Provides functional advice and guidance to colleagues and customers.
Experience:
- 8-10 years of relevant experience.
- Deep professional know-how and experience in one Sub Job Family.
- Mastery of the domain.
- Ability to transfer and apply know-how in various contexts.
- Solid professional judgment and problem-solving competence.
- Ability to improve existing processes and approaches.
- Chartered professional qualification or equivalent (not necessary but preferred)
